ColemSpice were approached at their exhibition stand at IBC, Amsterdam by Mr Saman Baban of Spectra-Media to discuss a new satellite Broadcast Media project in Iraq. ColemSpice took an outline brief for new venture based on a Mr Samans business plan to initially start up services based on 12 channels operating uplink and downlink via two 5m dishes.

ColemSpice agreed to produce outline design and planning proposals to be included in the new business plan to be submitted for discussion with financers in the Middle East.

The project plan would be carried out in manageable stages to identify the feasibility of all construction and engineering aspects to keep within the products and services objectives.

The prime objective will be to carry out sufficient design and planning to arrive at a budget and programme which is realistic in terms of the expected revenue generation over say a five year period or as business plan dictates.
