ColemSpice proposed to carry out a design, planning and display technology feasibility study, to test which of the current three display technology options currently being considered, to establish practical and viable solutions within the physical restrictions of the existing control room floor space.

Requirement -

The stated requirement was to increase the size of the existing display to 8m, adding graphic display capacity to support future Ka Band Service and Telemetry, while providing a more effective operational display tool which will enhance the NOC visitor experience. The selection of display technology should also reflect the Media requirements of camera teams during live PR/news broadcasts from the control centre.
